It all started in 1990 with two Chinese pastors with one pioneering spirit looking to unite their youth groups and provide a broader sense of the body of Christ. Together with the founders, they coined the name “Bay Area Asian Youth Fellowship”. At the time, “Asian” was considered a progressive and inclusive term.

After several years of camp and outreach to different Christian Youth groups and community members, BAAYF eventually diversified and expanded our reach of inclusion. Therefore changing our name to “Bay Area ALL Youth Fellowship”.

We continue to host a week-long camp every summer at the Alliance Redwoods Conference Ground to worship and fellowship together in the name of Christ. In the words of a camper: "It is crazy awesome!"
